Currently RAD is only accepting in person donations in Bend, Oregon. But, soon we will be able to accept bags through the mail! Contact info@RADLLC.org to arrange for local donations!
What type of bags are accepted?
RAD is now accepting almost ALL types of plastic bags!
We do NOT accept :

The extra thick 5¢ grocery store check out bags
(supposedly the State will recycle these)

Anything stinky or sticky or wet
Dirty Bags
Shredded or badly torn
Bags smaller than 6"

Thin plastic film from packaging
Small Ziploc​
Plastic packing material
​Ice Bags
Compostable Bags (please compost those)
Clean, Dry
No knots
No tears/rips
No stickers
No smell or stickiness
Bread Bags (shaken out)
Krinkly Take Out bags​
BEST Bags
ACCEPTABLE Bags
A small amount of dry veggie debris (onion skin etc)

Knots (though I have to untie them)

Jigsaw Puzzle Donations
RAD accepts jigsaw puzzle donations, ideally from our neighbors in Bend, OR.

The BEST puzzles are:

In good condition
-
Probably have all their pieces
-
Under 1500 pieces
-
Uniquely shaped
-
Pictures of fine art, architecture, animals, Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, etc
-
Look like other puzzles listed on our website

Please do NOT donate puzzles which are:

Definitely missing pieces
-
Damaged, or the box is very damaged (tape is okay)
-
Pictures of landscapes, photos of generic things like a house on a hill, kitschy things like a bunch of buttons or kittens with yarn or a messy garage or a bunch of sail boats

Claim to be "the hardest puzzle ever"
